Job summary

Ordnance Survey is seeking a Web Content Editor to create, manage and optimise content for the corporate website. You will work with stakeholders from across the business to translate objectives into engaging digital experiences.

You'll oversee content from brief through to publication, review and optimisation, supporting campaigns, product launches and customer journeys while ensuring content meets OS brand and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing, creating and publishing content within a CMS.
• Strong understanding of digital content best practices, including accessibility and usability.
• Experience working with stakeholders to understand requirements and shape briefs.
• Understanding of customer journeys and how content supports audiences.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and curate content across the OS website, ensuring high standards of quality and accessibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into engaging web content and user journeys.
• Take ownership of web briefs from concept through to implementation, refining requirements as needed.
• Support planning, creation and delivery of campaign, product and business-critical content.
• Build relationships across the business and provide guidance on digital content best practice.
• Champion accessibility and WCAG-aligned improvements across content.
