Job summary

VodafoneThree in London is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for web apps and CMS platforms. The role involves shaping the architecture roadmap, governing designs, and ensuring secure, scalable systems across the business.

You’ll lead technical direction, collaborate with architects and developers, and support cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a hybrid, office-plus-home setup.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale CMS architectures.
• Strong grasp of SOLID OO design principles and their application.
• Experience with web architectures including Microservices and Micro Frontends.
• Experience with cloud solutions and containerised web apps.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Establish an architecture roadmap for the next several years to guide upgrades and convergence.
• Lead architectural assurance across delivery lifecycles and governance forums.
• Ensure systems meet SLAs, performance goals, and security guidelines.
• Ensure non-functional requirements including performance, resilience and operability.
• Act as technical and functional contact for web apps and CMS domains, guiding teams.
• Support cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software with clear success criteria.
• Participate in Architecture & Web Development Guilds and collaborate with UK and Group leads.
