MBDA in Stevenage is offering an undergraduate placement for 2027 in the Weapon Systems Algorithms & Performance area. You will work on cutting-edge algorithm development, applying mathematical techniques to engineering problems and gaining exposure to system-level design.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
• Strong interest in mathematics and applying mathematical techniques to engineering problems.
• Experience programming for scientific/engineering applications (e.g. MATLAB, Python) would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise algorithms for weapon systems within WSAP.
• Contribute to system-level design and performance modelling.
• Collaborate with MBDA project teams to deliver algorithm components on time and to quality standards.
