Job summary

Our client, a leader in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a skilled Weapon System Equipment Project Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing interface with external partners, both programmatically and technically
  • Overseeing the acceptance and delivery of the Beam Director sub-system, including its final assembly, integration, and test
  • Supporting the functional integration of the Beam Director within the broader sub-system definition
  • Driving project development to advance the DragonFire programme
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in weapons, systems engineering, and project engineering
  • Proven track record of complex sub-system delivery and integration
  • Ability to operate in the early lifecycle of a project, drive technical direction, and clarify stakeholder needs
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and developing technical statements of work
  • Capability to develop complex electrical equipment or subsystems ensuring compliance with project requirements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Leadership in technical work packages alongside experienced project managers
