Job summary

MBDA, a leading defence organisation with a site in Stevenage, is seeking engineers for the Weapon System Equipment team. The role focuses on managing equipment and subsystems from bidding through design, development, production and integration onto platforms.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team across the full product lifecycle. We offer a dynamic, hybrid working pattern (2–3 days on-site) with a starting salary of £31,900 plus a £3,000 joining bonus and a broad range of benefits

Qualifications

• Sub-System & Equipment Requirements generation and management.
• Technical management of equipment development, production and delivery to meet Customer milestones.
• Managing equipment and hardware development trials.
• Develop equipment policies and technical standards to improve capability.
• Regular contact with partners including external MBDA Customers and Suppliers.
• Cross-functional collaboration across procurement, commercial, mechanical & electrical engineers, software engineers, trials & integration teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage subsystem and equipment requirements.
• Oversee equipment development through production and delivery.
• Coordinate equipment development trials and testing.
• Develop equipment policies and technical standards.
• Engage with MBDA customers and suppliers regularly.
