Job summary

MBDA UK is launching a Weapon System Engineer Graduate Programme for September 2027. You will join a fast-growing, multinational team delivering weapon system equipment across the lifecycle, with opportunities in technical and project management, and broad exposure to product delivery.

Applicants should hold a degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace/Physics/Mathematics/CS (2:2 or higher). The role offers hybrid working and a clear progression path within MBDA’s defence programmes.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science to a minimum of 2:2.

Responsibilities

• Sub-System & Equipment Requirements generation and management.
• Technical management of equipment development, production and delivery to meet Customer milestones.
• Managing equipment and hardware development trials.
• Develop equipment policies and technical standards to improve capability.
• Regular contact with external MBDA Customers and Suppliers.
• Working with a multi-disciplined team across all parts of the product lifecycle (procurement, commercial, mechanical & electrical engineers, software engineers, trials & integration teams).
