Stonehage Fleming is a leading multi-family office, within which we operate a Wealth Planning business providing integrated financial planning and investment advice to UK wealthy and aspiring individuals with average assets in excess of £3m.

We are looking to hire a Client Relationship Management Assistant to support a Director and an Adviser, proactively managing day-to-day client relationships for a portfolio of clients, ensuring a very high level of service in the delivery of our advice.

Responsibilities are extensive and will include such tasks as:

  • Arranging and attending meetings, taking meeting notes and owning and following up on actions as appropriate.
  • Liaising with third parties and other Stonehage Fleming teams to co-ordinate client delivery.
  • Maintaining and updating information on CRM systems and client databases.
  • Building relationships with clients.
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Preparing trading instructions.
  • Reviewing client fees, reports and Portal updates to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Preparation of annual and periodic reviews.

Experience required:

  • At least 5 years client relationship experience in a financial services firm, ideally within a private wealth planning/management setting
  • Likely to be educated to degree or equivalent level.
  • Either good product knowledge of investments and financial planning products or a desire to gain further experience in this industry. In time, the successful applicant may be expected to sit financial planning exams to further their knowledge and progression.
  • Evidence of an ability to understand relatively complex situations and work to find solutions.
  • Relevant experience to be able to talk confidently and build relationships with colleagues at all levels and with higher net worth clients.
