Our Wealth and Personal Banking business supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs worldwide. We provide products and services including current accounts, credit cards, personal loans, mortgages, savings, investments, insurance, and wealth management. We also have specialized relationship managers supporting customers with bespoke requirements, including high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

What will I do as a Wealth Manager at HSBC?

Wealth Management is a relationship-based service where you will create connections with customers and colleagues. As a Wealth Manager, you’ll have access to a portfolio of wealth customers, growth potential, career progression, and an environment that values authenticity and relationship-building. You’ll support all aspects of a customer’s financial life, helping them grow, manage, and preserve their wealth, and providing professional service in a complex world.

In this role, you will:

  1. Manage and support a portfolio of high-value premier customers.
  2. Act as a trusted adviser, providing holistic financial advice and supporting customers through key life events such as investing, saving for a home, planning retirement, or family protection.
  3. Conduct in-depth reviews to identify personal and financial needs, delivering tailored wealth management and financial planning services.
  4. Advise on a range of products and services, including those from external partners.
  5. Deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication and influencing skills.
  6. Monitor information to assess impacts, risks, and opportunities for the business.

What you’ll need:
  • Relevant Level 4 qualifications (e.g., Dip CII, CISI, or equivalent QCF RDR level 4) and current Statement of Professional Standing.
  • CAS status is desired.
  • Experience in providing holistic financial advice across a wide range of products.
  • Previous roles as a Wealth Adviser, IFA, Financial Planning Manager, or similar.
  • Experience in retail banking, relationship management, or front office environments.
