Job summary

Canal & River Trust is seeking a Project Manager to join the Project Delivery North team, delivering a range of third‑party funded projects across the North West waterway network. You will plan, manage and monitor projects from £50,000 to £1,000,000, applying NEC contracts, governance and robust cost control.

You’ll collaborate with diverse stakeholders, coordinate schedules, budgets and risks, and ensure safe, compliant project delivery while promoting wellbeing and positive team dynamics.

Qualifications

• HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Project Management.
• Valid UK driving licence; travel across locations required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver multiple low/medium complexity projects.
• Manage NEC contracts and project finances.
• Develop schedules and monitor budgets and milestones.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure objectives and safety standards.
• Handover projects with lessons learned.
