Albert Bartlett is seeking a hands-on Water Treatment Operator to join our site team. You will perform daily plant tasks, manage chemical dosing, monitor water quality, and keep precise records. Collaboration with maintenance and engineering is essential as we uphold strict health and safety standards.

We value individuals who are physically fit, capable of manual tasks, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Rolling shift patterns apply with a 4-on/4-off cycle.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in water treatment operations or related industrial/environmental roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and management.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily water treatment plant tasks including chemical dosing, pressing off, and level checking.
• Maintain records of chemical usage and water quality readings accurately.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Manager for ordering chemicals and supplies.
• Assist maintenance engineers with planned and reactive plant maintenance activities.
• Check all site fuel tanks daily and report levels.
• Ensure the plant environment is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Carry out additional duties such as grass cutting using tractor-driven equipment as needed.
