Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Non Infra Team Manager to lead a skilled operational team ~12 people in Derbyshire, overseeing Little Eaton Water Treatment Works that supplies potable water to the area. The role involves some travel across the Eastern region and participation in an out-of-hours standby rota.

You will require leadership experience, knowledge of water treatment and regulatory requirements, and the ability to drive safety, efficiency and performance while developing the team and assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing, leading and inspiring teams in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of water treatment, maintenance practices and regulatory requirements is desirable.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimise the operation and maintenance of Little Eaton Water Treatment Works.
• Lead the team to deliver safe, compliant and efficient performance.
• Manage budgets and seek efficiency savings aligned with objectives.
• Build strong relationships with regulators and supply chain partners.
• Coordinate emergency planning and incident response arrangements.
