• Produce detailed technical reports.

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a knowledgeable Water Treatment Service Chemist, who has strong technical experience and a reliable work history. Applicants will be travelling across the Central Belt of Scotland and servicing a range of commercial, industrial and client sites. You will be proficient in using a test kit on site to conduct analysis and must be able to converse on technical matters directly with clients. It would be beneficial to have sales acumen in order to upsell services and establish new client relationships. Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist within a Water Treatment company
• Robust technical knowledge, including ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• It would be beneficial to have a degree relating to Chemistry / Science
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong literacy and IT skills
• Professional manner

The Role

• Conducting sampling and analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers
• Chemical dosing
• Carrying out closed system analysis and dosing
• Upselling of further company services to clients
• Being a key point of contact for clients, providing technical advice and answering technical queries
• Producing detailed technical reports
• Building and maintaining strong rapports with clients
• Working in line with agreed deadlines and personal targets
• Travelling as required by client contracts
