Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd is seeking a results‑driven Sales Manager to drive new business development and revenue growth across the UK water treatment sector. You will own the full sales cycle from enquiry to project delivery, working with engineering teams to craft technically robust proposals.

You will build long‑term relationships with industrial and manufacturing customers, negotiate terms, and travel nationally.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience within the water treatment industry.
• Knowledge of clean water, wastewater or industrial treatment processes.
• Experience managing complex technical sales opportunities.
• Commercially aware with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable engaging with engineers, procurement teams and senior decision-makers.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts across the UK.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and enquiry through to negotiation and close.
• Work closely with engineering teams to develop technically and commercially sound proposals.
• Identify opportunities for equipment sales, service agreements, upgrades and system optimisation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and pipeline reporting.
• Build long‑term relationships with customers across industrial and manufacturing sectors.
