Job summary

United Utilities is seeking a Process Controller to ensure safe, efficient and reliable water production for customers at Godley Water Treatment Works in Hyde. You will work with a skilled team to operate, maintain and optimise production assets in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Key duties include following QA SOPs, building strong team relationships and delivering asset performance data. This role requires problem solving, teamwork and commitment to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five GCSEs at grades A-C, including Maths, English and a Science or Technology subject.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimise Water treatment site production and last in line pumping stations.
• Complete scheduled cyclic tasks and document reactive tasks in a timely manner.
• Deliver accurate, reliable asset performance data.
• Investigate recurring process issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Participate in the area out-of-hours standby response rota when fully trained.
