Job summary

Severn Trent Water is seeking a Technical Operator to join the Strensham site in Worcestershire. You will work on raw water sources, operate plant processes, and perform sampling and lab testing to deliver high-quality drinking water.

The role requires rotating shifts on a 24/7/365 rota with standby duties and a base salary plus shift allowances. You'll work with SCADA and PRISM systems, collaborating with maintenance and process teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in water treatment processes and plant operation.
• Ability to operate and interpret SCADA/HMI data.
• Willingness to undergo internal technical training.

Responsibilities

• Own site performance including water quality and process efficiency.
• Monitor treatment processes using SCADA/PRISM systems.
• Assist in optimizing processes to meet customer needs and safety standards.
• Manage chemical stocks and ensure on-site supplies.
• Conduct on-site testing and ensure compliance with quality metrics.
