Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting a Mechanical / Water Treatment Engineer to maintain mechanical systems, water treatment and related plant on a large Government site in Westminster.

The role covers planned and reactive maintenance of domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, and air conditioning, with a 4 on 4 off day schedule from 7am to 7pm. Suitable candidates will have City & Guilds/NVQ in plumbing and mechanical engineering and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• L8 qualified with City and Guilds or NVQ in plumbing and mechanical engineering.
• Full clean driving licence plus ability to gain CTC clearance.
• Experience in mechanical engineering and water treatment.
• Willingness to work 4 on 4 off days, 7am–7pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems.
• Provide first-line response to reactive call-outs, ensuring work is completed safely and in compliance with approved codes of practice.
• Assist with building fabric and electrical systems maintenance as required.
• Collaborate with engineering supervisor and specialist subcontractors to deliver high-quality service.

An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service provider situated in Westminster has arisen! CBW are currently recruiting for a Mechanical / Water Treatment Engineer to look after a large Government site in Westminster. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Mechanical Engineering & Water Treatment ideally currently working in a similar position. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to join a large organisation so they can expand their knowledge and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including domestic and closed water systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and pressure systems
• Provide first-line response to reactive call-outs, ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with approved codes of practice
• Assist with building fabric and electrical systems maintenance as required
