GAP Group Limited is seeking a Pump & Treatment Installation Engineer to install, commission and troubleshoot a range of pump and water treatment equipment. The role involves servicing and maintaining equipment, with inspections and safety checks carried out on-site. Travel across the region is required.

The ideal candidate will have experience in pump installations or water treatment, a driving licence, and a flexible, detail-oriented approach. Full training will be provided where needed.

Competenze

• Experience in pump installations or water treatment is preferred, though full training is provided.
• Sound knowledge of diesel pumps or water treatment is highly desirable.
• CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable.
• Valid driving licence is essential.

Mansioni

• Install, commission and troubleshoot pump and water treatment installations.

About the role

The Role

GAP Pump Services provide advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for water treatment, dewatering and sewerage pump applications including a large range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.

As a Pump & Treatment Installation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the region by ensuring that our customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of pump or water treatment equipment within the GAP fleet.

As part of our high-performing regional team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning and troubleshooting pump and water treatment installations. In addition, you will maintain our treatment equipment which includes safety checks, testing and inspections.

** Please note this is a site based role which will involve travel across the region.

About You

Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Experience within pump installations and/or water treatment would be preferred however full training would be provided
• Sound and current knowledge of diesel pumps or water treatment is highly desirable.
• CITB/NVQ qualification is preferable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• A flexible attitude to suit the changing needs of the region
• A valid driving licence is essential
