Job summary

Dakro is seeking a Flushing Engineer based at the Dudley Head Office with UK-wide Travel to deliver pre-commission cleaning, flushing and water treatment across diverse commercial and industrial projects.

You will work with experienced colleagues on technically challenging projects, using industry-leading equipment to ensure safe, compliant commissioning and high-quality outcomes, while benefiting from a supportive team and funded training opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience within flushing, water treatment or building services.
Knowledge of pre-commission cleaning and closed-system treatment.
Experience operating flushing and filtration equipment.
Good understanding of heating and chilled water systems.
Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel and stay away when required.

Responsibilities

Pre-commission cleaning of heating and chilled water systems.
Power flushing, back flushing and chemical cleaning activities.
Chemical dosing and closed-system water treatment.
Installation and operation of flushing rigs, pumps and filtration equipment.
Collection and recording of system data and test results.
Maintenance of equipment, vehicles and site documentation.
Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures and industry standards.
Working closely with colleagues, clients and site teams to deliver exceptional service.
