Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer / Maintenance Plumber to cover multiple sites across Reading and the South East. The role focuses on water treatment, plumbing maintenance, and compliance with ACOP L8 where applicable.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year in water treatment, with City & Guilds qualifications desirable. A company van, pension, and generous leave are provided.

Qualifications

• Desirable City and Guilds Plumbing Level 2 qualification.
• Desirable City and Guilds Water Treatment qualification.
• Desirable Legionella control qualification for hot and cold water systems.
• Experience in water system remediation/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor water systems and temperatures.
• Descales, cleans and inspects cold water storage tanks.
• Service cooling towers and perform disinfections.
• Dosing of inhibitors/biocides.
• Water sampling and testing of LTHW systems.
• Carrying out plumbing remedial works.
