Job summary

Invictus Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 3) to cover four Sandwell Hospitals and travel occasionally to sites in Birmingham and Coventry. You will perform planned and reactive water hygiene tasks, monitor systems, sample water and maintain records.

The role demands strong legionella knowledge, a full UK driving licence and a Level 2 Plumbing qualification, with opportunities for long-term employment and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Technician with strong practical experience in legionella and water hygiene.
• Tier 3 water treatment/water hygiene experience is required.
• Candidates should have Level 2 Plumbing or equivalent and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive water treatment and water hygiene works across Sandwell Hospitals contract.
• Travel occasionally to other sites across Birmingham and Coventry region.
• Monitor temperatures and perform water sampling and chlorine testing on site.
• Descales showers, inspects cold water storage, tanks and closed systems.
• Service TMV units and perform routine water softening servicing.
• Maintain accurate service records and report issues identified on site.

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Sandwell, Birmingham & Coventry

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 3) to join our team, covering four hospital sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive water treatment and water hygiene works across the Sandwell Hospitals contract, with occasional travel to other sites across the Birmingham and Coventry region.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Temperature monitoring
• Showerhead descales
• Cold water storage inspections
• Tank inspections and cleans
• TMV servicing
• Water sampling
• Water softening servicing
• Closed system monitoring and maintenance
• Chlorine testing
• Internal chlorifier inspections
• Completing accurate service records and reporting any issues identified on site

About You

We are looking for an experienced Water Treatment Technician with strong practical experience in legionella and water hygiene.

• Previous Tier 3 water treatment/water hygiene experience
• Relevant water treatment and/or legionella qualifications
• Experience across the core water hygiene duties listed above
• A Level 2 Plumbing qualification is highly desirable
• A full UK driving licence
• The ability to work independently across multiple sites
• A strong understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements
