Water Treatment Engineer - FM Service Provider - West London/Slough - Up to £34,100 per annum

An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service provider situated in London has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Water Treatment Engineer to oversee multiple sites in and around Slough, Twickenham, Uxbridge, Reading, and Harrow across various contracts. The successful candidate will have proven experience in water treatment or a related field. Water treatment qualifications are preferred but not essential. This role is ideal for candidates with limited experience seeking to expand their knowledge and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Managing Chilled Water systems.
• Water flushing procedures.
• Disinfecting mains water pipes and hot & cold water systems as needed.
• Working with chemicals such as chemical dosing.
• Conducting surveys on hot and cold water systems.
• Performing general building maintenance.
• Knowledge of Calorifiers, Cooling Towers disinfection, Circulation pumps, Temperature tests, Tank cleans, Chlorination, Water softeners, Cold water storage tanks, Dip slides.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• City and Guilds in Plumbing (desirable).
• City and Guilds in Water Treatment (desirable).
• City and Guilds Legionella control certification in hot and cold water systems (desirable).
• Experience in water system remediation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.
• Training and knowledge of ACOP L8 regulations.
