Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a Mobile Water Technician Level 2 in the South East of England to operate, maintain and monitor water treatment systems across customer sites. You will ensure water safety and regulatory compliance while delivering practical field support.

Key duties include performing Legionella maintenance, site testing, documentation, and adherence to ACoP L8 procedures, with potential training and progression within a large facilities services group.

Qualifications

• Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing and minor plumbing works.
• Carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with ACoP L8.
• Maintain customer water logbooks and complete documentation.
• Carry out water system cleans and disinfections per ACoP L8 and Mitie procedures.
• Test, service and maintain thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) and basic plumbing works.
• Carry out closed system on-site analysis and chemical dosing.
• Complete mains injection works.
• Perform cooling tower cleaning and disinfection activities.
