Job summary

LUXE Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Water Systems Technician / Refurbishment Technician to refurbish returned water home systems, ensuring peak performance. You will work in a fast-growing, quality-focused environment with training provided.

The role emphasizes diagnosing issues, quality control, and collaboration with the Quality Manager to reduce future returns. A forklift bonus is available but not required, with on-site responsibilities centered around Redhill.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, white goods or mechanical repairs (or similar).
• Must live within 30 minutes of Redhill.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Work independently and know how to juggle priorities.
• Ability to be a team player, and work well under pressure.
• Forklift license would be a bonus but is not essential as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose root causes of product returns and carry out refurbishment of returned or broken water home systems, following specifications and training provided by the Quality Manager.
• Ensure all repairs are completed correctly the first time to prevent repeat returns.
• Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager to identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements that enhance repair quality and reduce future returns.
• Follow all Stand Operating Procedures and defined processes, accurately recording information in their systems.
• Record all stock consumption accurately in our systems to ensure your van stock aligns to system counts.
• Complete all stock takes accurately and on time.
