Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking an Estates Maintenance Assistant (Water Systems) to support planned and reactive maintenance of water systems across Dr Grays Hospital, Elgin. You will work on a range of engineering plant and equipment and assist fellow Maintenance Craftspersons.

Applicants should have basic water system maintenance training, be flexible and self-motivated, with awareness of health and safety. A current full driving licence is required.

• Basic understanding or training in water system maintenance.
• Experience in engineering maintenance and working on engineering plant and equipment.
• Awareness of health and safety responsibilities.
• Flexible, adaptable and self-motivated.
• Current, full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance of water systems.
• Work on a range of engineering plant and equipment.
• Assist other Maintenance Craftspersons.
• Based at Dr Grays Hospital, Elgin; cover Moray and North Aberdeenshire.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety responsibilities.
