Job summary

HomeServe UK is looking for a Water Supply Pipe Engineer to work in St Albans, carrying out repairs and maintenance on water supply systems in customers’ homes. You’ll diagnose leaks on water mains, lay and replace pipework, and undertake excavation and reinstatement work while delivering excellent customer service.

This field-based role offers autonomy and around 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with a competitive package and a £1,500 guaranteed bonus in year

Qualifications

• Experience working on water mains (repairs, installation, leak detection).
• Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
• A positive, proactive approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing leaks on water mains
• Laying and replacing pipework
• Excavation and reinstatement work where required
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care
