Job summary

HomeServe UK is seeking a Water Supply Pipe Engineer to repair and maintain water supply systems in customers’ homes. You will diagnose leaks, lay and replace pipework, and manage jobs with a focus on excellent service.

This field-based role involves working in customers’ homes with autonomy, supported by structured onboarding. Week 1 is classroom induction at the Walsall Head Office, Week 2 on-the-job training with an experienced engineer.

Qualifications

• Experience working on water mains repairs, installation and leak detection.
• Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
• A positive, proactive approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing leaks on water mains.
• Laying and replacing pipework.
• Excavation and reinstatement work where required.
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care.
