Job summary

HomeServe UK is hiring a Water Supply Pipe Support Engineer in Southampton. You will work on-site, supporting repairs and maintenance, learning from experienced engineers, and delivering excellent customer service across outdoor environments.

Expect a 40-hour week (evenings, weekends, bank holidays) with a starting salary of £31,580 plus a £1,500 guaranteed bonus in year one, plus overtime and a structured onboarding programme.

Qualifications

• Awareness of safe digging practices.
• A full UK Driving Licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Good problem-solving ability.
• A positive, proactive approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the repair and maintenance of water supply pipes in customers’ homes.
• Assisting experienced engineers on-site while developing technical skills.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service at every interaction.
• Working safely and efficiently in outdoor environments.
• Contributing to a team that takes pride in doing the job right first time.
