SGC Security Services Company are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Officers to join our team in Testwood on a permanent basis. The role involves outdoor work at water industry sites, patrolling up to 10+ km per shift and responding to incidents to keep staff, visitors, and infrastructure safe.

You will monitor access, operate security systems, and maintain professional communication with stakeholders while following all safety protocols.

Competenze

• Requires valid SIA Licence (DS).
• First Aid certification required.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Previous security experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Experience with access control and patrolling systems.
• Basic computer literacy for logging reports and using security systems.
• Ongoing training with clear career development pathways.
• Monthly pay and overtime available.

Mansioni

• Monitor and control site access to authorised personnel only.
• Conduct regular foot patrols across challenging terrain (10 km+ per shift).
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies.
• Operate security systems and access control software.
• Maintain high situational awareness and assess on-site risks.
• De-escalate confrontations professionally.
• Liaise with management and emergency services during escalated incidents.
• Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols.
• Engage with the public courteously and professionally.
