Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Water division, working on AMP8 projects across the UK & Ireland. The role emphasizes leadership within a collaborative team, with opportunities to mentor graduates and deliver designs within schedule and budget.

Ideally you are degree-qualified in Civil Engineering and progressing toward chartership, with experience in the water sector preferred. Flexible working arrangements and cross-disciplinary collaboration are core to this role.

Qualifications

• You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
• Ideally, you will be a member of a relevant engineering institution and actively working towards your chartership.
• Previous experience working within the water industry is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drawing from your civil engineering experience, you will, as part of a team, develop solutions from needs identification and feasibility, through to outline and detailed design.
• You will have the ability to collaborate with other disciplines.
• Start developing your leadership skills as you start supporting new graduates starting their careers.
• You will also have a track record of undertaking designs and complete design deliverables within required timescales and design budgets.
