Job summary

Stantec in the UK is recruiting a Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of water sector projects across Scotland. Based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, you’ll manage planning, delivery, budgets and schedules within the company’s PM framework, while building strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.

You’ll identify risks early, report progress to stakeholders, and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Water industry with project management and commercial management is essential.
• Chartered engineer (CEng) or equivalent qualification likely.
• Project management qualification such as APM PMQ or equivalent likely.
• Experience managing multiple deadlines and strong stakeholder relationships.
• Proven track record in proactive risk management and mitigation.
• Experience leading and mentoring project and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of a diverse portfolio of water projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources to meet financial and operational targets.
• Identify and mitigate risks early and address issues to keep projects on track.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and present updates and documentation to internal and external audiences.
