Job summary

AECOM is seeking Project Managers to deliver flood risk and water infrastructure projects across multiple regions from eight regional offices. The role covers inception through to site delivery and commissioning, with client-side PM responsibilities and NEC4 contract oversight.

You will work with senior PMs to coordinate teams, ensure compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and support stakeholder engagement and business development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering water sector projects.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Ability to engage clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead or be part of a project team to deliver capital investment projects in water.
• Attend meetings, take minutes, contribute to plans and procurement.
• Engage with clients, contractors and stakeholders to meet scope and resolve issues.
• Manage client-side PM aspects: safety, risk, quality, schedule, contracts.
• Ensure projects meet client expectations on quality, cost and time.
• Allocate resources and manage the project team to meet milestones.
• Develop relationships with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Support business development with existing and new clients.
• Provide contract management support on NEC4 contracts.
• Advise on procurement strategies and review tender docs.
• Mentor Graduates and Apprentices.
