Entry-Level Civil Engineer

CME Associates is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

1. Project Design and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of civil engineering designs, plans, and specifications for various infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water systems, and land development.
2. Site Investigation and Surveys: Conduct fieldwork, site investigations, and surveys to gather data for engineering assessments and project planning.
3. Technical Documentation: Prepare technical reports, calculations, and presentations to support project deliverables and client communications.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and standards.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification: or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Communication and Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
