Job summary

UK Water Industry Research Ltd (UKWIR) is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver a strategic portfolio of research projects. The role is home-based with one day a week in London and requires proactive coordination with members, regulators and contractors to ensure value and timely outcomes.

You will manage governance, track project finances, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective delivery of projects within the programme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management and delivery.
• Proven experience in managing and tracking project finances.
• Ability to build relationships with UKWIR members, regulators and contractors.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• High initiative and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a subset of strategic projects.
• Lead engagement with members, regulators and contractors.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and project finances.
• Ensure delivery effectiveness of the project subset.
• Work from home primarily; attend London meetings as required.
