Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Hydrologist to join our Sustainable Water Management team. You will lead WRMP projects across the UK, developing rainfall-runoff models and contributing to regulatory deliverables.

The role offers hybrid working across the UK and opportunities to influence AMP8 programmes. The ideal candidate will hold an MSc in Hydrology or related field, with UK water resources experience and chartership in progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in hydrology or water resources with relevant field focus.
• Chartership with a professional body is desirable or working towards.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client and regulator reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to WRMP projects UK-wide.
• Develop rainfall-runoff models and calibrate them.
• Produce high-quality reports for clients and regulators.
• Collaborate with catchment science and other disciplines.
