Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom seeks an environmental engineer to support riverine water quality modelling for SOAF/INV4/UPM projects and assist with Water Framework Directive reviews.

You will work within the Networks & Drainage Solutions team, develop numerical modelling skills, ensure deliverables meet regulations, and collaborate across multidisciplinary groups with mentoring from senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the UK Water Industry and regulatory considerations.
• Experience delivering SOAF/INV4/UPM projects under senior guidance.
• Knowledge of sewer networks and riverine water quality processes.
• Willingness to learn industry-standard software like InfoWorks ICM.
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to project delivery and client relationships with support from senior staff.

About You

• Demonstrates an understanding of the UK Water Industry and relevant regulatory considerations.
• Experience in delivery of SOAF/INV4/UPM projects under the guidance of senior team members.
• Shows a developing knowledge of sewer network and riverine water quality processes.
• Experience or willingness to learn industry standard software such as InfoWorks ICM.
• Assists in checking the work of colleagues to support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contributes to project delivery and helps maintain positive client relationships, with support from more experienced staff.
