Finlay Jude Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Field Technician to join a team delivering leak detection services across the Southwest. Based in the Yeovil area, the role is full-time with Monday to Friday hours and flexible start times.

You will record acoustic data, work outdoors, and liaise with supervisors while building customer service skills.

Full training will be provided, a company vehicle and fuel card, and opportunities to grow into a dedicated field technician.

Qualifications

• Must have full clean UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied environments.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time.
• Full training provided in water hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Record acoustic sound files across water distribution networks.
• Work independently in urban/suburban settings.
• Liaise with supervisors and meet targets.
• Be prepared for long driving hours.
• Carry out duties while following safety protocols.
