Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Ganger to lead a small team on Anglian Water Alliance projects in Norwich or Ipswich. The role involves maintaining the water network, supervising one to five operatives, and upholding top safety and quality standards on site.

You will coordinate with engineers, delivery agents and stakeholders, ensuring timely progress and accurate safety reporting while managing stock and timesheets. 45 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team on large-scale water utility schemes.
• Strong focus on health, safety and environment compliance.
• Ability to coordinate with delivery agents, engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team of one to five operatives on large-scale water utility schemes
• Ensuring all works comply with health, safety, and environmental legislation whilst maintaining excellent site standards
• Communicating effectively with delivery agents, engineers, and stakeholders to monitor progress and resolve any issues
• Overseeing the completion of all safety reporting measures, site inspections, and required documentation
• Managing stock control, timesheets, and maintaining professional relationships with customers and stakeholders
