Job summary

South East Water requires an experienced Production Manager (Maintenance) to lead a multi‑disciplinary maintenance team across the Water Supply Kent operations. You will manage reactive and planned maintenance while ensuring safe, reliable service and regulatory compliance.

The role involves budgeting, coordinating with schedulers and planners, and standing by for incident response. A strong focus on safety, performance and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a multi-skilled technical team.
• Experience managing maintenance in process/plant environments.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Knowledge of SCADA/PLC controlled processes and budgeting.
• Full driving licence and willingness for standby duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across sites.
• Develop and refine maintenance strategy, processes and procedures.
• Schedule activities with planners and contractors.
• Embed health and safety culture and manage a team of 6 technicians.
• Analyse site performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
