The Clancy Group is seeking a Mains Laying Operative to join our London-based water works team. This hands-on role involves outdoor, physical work and collaboration with an experienced Team Leader to develop your skills in clean water environments.

You will install, repair and maintain mains, work in trenches, and assist with testing, disinfection and site safety. A full UK driving licence is required; NRSWA is desirable, with training provided for additional qualifications.

Qualifikationen

• Experience on clean water networks and mains laying.
• Full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• NRSWA accreditation is desirable.
• Ability to read basic drawings and work as part of a site team.

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining water mains and service connections.
• Excavating, backfilling, and reinstating trenches to specification.
• Locating and repairing water mains defects.
• Operating tools, equipment and plant for mains works.
• Carrying out pressure testing, disinfection, and chlorination.
