Job summary

IES Utilities Group is seeking a Water Leakage Technician to support leakage detection and network performance across sites in the Sussex area. You will identify, locate and work to reduce water loss, collaborating with operational teams, repair crews and client representatives.

The role requires hands-on field work, strong safety awareness and experience with leakage detection methods. Training, equipment and a van are provided for daily operations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in leakage detection or water network operations.
• Full UK Driving Licence and comfortable driving a van.
• Good understanding of health and safety on operational utility networks.
• Ability to work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out proactive and reactive leakage detection across water networks.
• Identify and locate underground leaks on trunk mains and distribution networks.
• Investigate customer reports and anomalies to identify leakage issues.
• Record findings using client and company reporting systems.
• Support network optimisation and reduce water loss.
