Job summary

Gearing Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee water infrastructure projects on site. You will lead day-to-day site operations, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery while coordinating with engineers, clients and subcontractors.

Essential experience in water projects, RAMS and HSE compliance, and strong leadership of site teams, subcontractors and plant. You will monitor progress, maintain records and ensure environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management on water infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements (HSE) and RAMS.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on water industry projects.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety legislation, company procedures and site requirements.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and plant to ensure works progress efficiently.
• Monitor project progress against programme and report any delays or issues.
• Ensure all works are completed to the required quality standards and project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, briefings and safety checks.
• Ensure RAMS are in place and followed.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients and other stakeholders.
• Monitor resources, materials and plant requirements.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and relevant project documentation.
• Identify and resolve site issues, escalating where necessary.
• Ensure environmental requirements and water industry standards are maintained throughout the project.
