Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the Water Infrastructure team in Liverpool. You will work on flood risk, river restoration, water/wastewater treatment, and sustainable drainage within large multi-disciplinary projects.

You will visit sites, meet clients and stakeholders, and collaborate across disciplines using digital tools to deliver innovative, low-carbon solutions and support your professional accreditation journey.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with a 2:1 or higher.
• Willing to develop professional accreditation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in digital methods and automation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessment, analysis, and design with reports and drawings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.
• Meet clients, agencies, local authorities, and site visits.
• Specify and analyse survey information for solutions.
• Develop and appraise options and engineering business cases.
• Create digital solutions to manipulate and report on data.
