Job summary

Northumbrian Water Group is seeking a Network Design & Construction Field Engineer to join our Integrated Delivery Services team. You will own technical guidance across IDS and support project teams, designers, contractors and operations to ensure safe, robust water infrastructure delivery from feasibility through handover.

The role requires practical knowledge of pipelines, mains laying and civil construction, plus a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of water infrastructure delivery, pipelines, mains and civil construction.
• Ability to interpret designs, drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of risk assessments and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input across feasibility, design and handover.
• Advise on route selection, access, land constraints and buildability.
• Support project teams, contractors and operations with compliant solutions.
