Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Civil Design Engineer for their Farringdon office in London on a permanent basis with hybrid working. You will contribute to water and wastewater infrastructure projects, supporting feasibility through detailed design, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

You will work with Project Managers and Technical Leads to ensure safe, timely delivery, while developing your technical capabilities and progressing toward

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil engineering design experience, preferably in water or industrial sectors.
• Experience producing and checking high-quality calculations, drawings and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of British Standards and water industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering design from feasibility through to detailed design.
• Prepare supporting calculations, notes and reports.
• Coordinate and manage preparation of technical drawings.
• Support delivery of projects to programme, budget and quality targets.
• Assist with day-to-day financial and commercial management of engineering commissions.
• Apply relevant British Standards and water industry standards.
• Work with multi-disciplinary design teams and mentor junior members.
