Job summary

M Group Water is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to deliver automation and control projects for Scotland's water infrastructure. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary team from design through testing, commissioning and on-going support.

Responsibilities include PLC/HMI/SCADA development, technical documentation, and client-facing collaboration to improve reliability and asset life. Travel across Scotland to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, and testing PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions.
• Familiarity with QA processes and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement PLC/HMI/SCADA solutions for water infrastructure.
• Produce design specifications, hardware designs, and operation manuals.
• Configure and program control systems with Siemens and Rockwell platforms.
• Support QA processes and ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
• Participate in design reviews, audits, and lessons-learned workshops.
• Provide technical support and optimise existing control systems.
