Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Water Hygiene Technician to support our Environment & Safety division. You’ll perform inspections, cleaning, and monitoring to ensure water safety compliance on site and on client projects.

We value reliability and a can-do attitude; a UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required. The role offers a competitive package with training and flexible work arrangements across local and national assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience in some or all of the listed water hygiene tasks.
• Demonstrable can-do attitude.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Safety awareness and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cold water storage tank inspections and recommend remedial works.
• Clean and disinfect cold water storage tanks.
• Perform thermostatic mixing valve failsafe checks and servicing.
• Monitor water temperatures regularly.
