Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland’s Environment & Safety team is seeking a Water Hygiene Technician to help protect people and the environment while delivering compliant water safety services. This role blends on-site work with teamwork to uphold high standards across client sites.

You will inspect cold water storage tanks, perform cleaning and disinfections, check thermostatic mixing valve failsafes, and monitor water temperatures.

Qualifications

• Experience in some, or all, of the tasks listed above, or a willingness to be trained.
• A “can do” attitude.
• A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Cold water storage tank inspections and recommending remedial works.
• Cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfections.
• Thermostatic mixing valve failsafe checks and servicing.
• Water temperature monitoring.
