Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Water Hygiene Technician to join the Inverness based Environment & Safety division. You will perform cold water storage tank inspections, cleaning and disinfections, thermostatic mixing valve checks, and water sampling as part of a team that ensures safe water systems.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel; a positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and with colleagues are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in some, or all, of the tasks listed above, or a willingness to be trained.
• A “can do” attitude
• A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Cold water storage tank inspections and recommending remedial works
• Cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfections
• Thermostatic mixing valve failsafe checks and servicing
• Water sampling
• Water temperature monitoring
• Showerhead descaling
