Job summary

SOCOTEC Building Control Limited in Maidenhead is seeking a dedicated Water Hygiene Technician to join our Environment & Safety division. The role involves inspecting cold water systems, cleaning and disinfecting tanks, and monitoring temperatures as part of our water safety program.

You will need a can-do attitude, be able to travel, and hold a full UK driving licence; after joining you may be required to obtain MOD security clearance.

• Experience in some, or all, of the tasks listed above, or a willingness to be trained.
• A 'can do' attitude

Job Description

This could be your opportunity to excel as a Water Hygiene Technician as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed.

As our company grows and develops, we are ever expanding our teams. We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Water Hygiene Technician to join our Environment & Safety division.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable and committed to join our team. As a member of the Environment & Safety division it is key that you can work efficiently as part of a team as well as having the capabilities to work independently. Due to the nature of the job, travelling will be part of your day-to-day role.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Cold water storage tank inspections and recommending remedial works
• Cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfections
• Thermostatic mixing valve failsafe checks and servicing
• Water temperature monitoring
