Job summary

Fern Recruitment Limited is sourcing a Water Hygiene Team Leader for Buckinghamshire. The role requires hands-on technical work three days a week and leadership of a five-person team across two static healthcare sites.

You will remain technically hands-on, supervise site operations, and drive adherence to ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines while developing team skills and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer.
• Experience in a team leader or supervisor role preferred.
• Full driving license is required.
• DBS checked.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of water hygiene engineers and allocate on-site work.
• Act as primary contact for site management.
• Train engineers to meet ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines.
• Carry out hands-on duties including water sampling, TMV servicing, and temperature monitoring.
• Clean, descale and disinfect shower heads and hoses.
• Check monthly site logbooks and attend management meetings.

Water Hygiene Team Leader - High Wycombe

£32000-£36000 + Van + Benefits (paid door to door)

Environmental Consultancy providing legionella solutions to commercial clients across the UK is currently looking for a Water Hygiene Team Leader to lead a team of 5 and cover two static health care sites in Buckinghamshire.

This position will remain technically hands on for 3 days a week and would suit a Water Hygiene Team Leader at this level already or an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer looking to make that next career step.

Key Duties

• Leading a team of water hygiene engineers helping to allocate work on site
• Acting as the primary contact for site management
• Undertake training with engineers to ensure ACoP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines are met
• Be technically hands on carrying out duties including
• Water Sampling
• TMV Servicing
• Temperature monitoring/testing of tap outlets and tanks
• Cleaning, Descaling and disinfection of shower heads and hoses
• Check monthly site logbooks and attend management meetings and site reviews

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Experience in a team leader or supervisor role preferred
• Full driving license
• DBS checked

The Water Hygiene Team Leader will be given the opportunity to gain additional industry qualifications both technically and at management level. They will be given 2 days a week for team training and site reports and a full benefits package.
